Before Ben came to me, he didn’t know which scales would work best over what chord progressions.
He was also unsure how to resolve the licks within his improvisations to compliment certain chords in a progression.
I showed him how to determine which scales work for certain chord progressions and riffs and we worked on chord tone soloing – a way of soloing that compliments the chords of a progression.
Today he’s soloing better than he ever has!
